This week we launched my Kickstarter Campaign which will contain the best sketches from my sketchbooks! If you’re a fan of Nnewts, you’re going to love this book because it has at least 20 pages of Nnewts material, from my initial work of the characters from 17 years ago, to creatures that won’t show up until future books!
Thanks for reading, and as usual, please tell your friends!

Man, I like the story teller aspect of this. And that last panel? I haven’t seen everything you’ve done, but that is a damn fine panel. Just a perfect layout with the rest of the page.
“Oh, hey, a new page. I’ll ju–KICKSTARTER?! FOR A SKETCHBOOK COLLECTIONEEIOH SNERK GLERBFKHERRKEOTK WHERE’S MY WALLET”
Seriously though, how can I possibly decide which tier to get? This is truly a treasure you’re giving us, Doug.
I love the second and third panels, by the way. He’s definitely my favorite character to look at.
I’m loving the amount of energy in all these characters!
I agree with the comment about the energy in these panels. Whoever your colorist is, they are doing a fantastic job, also.
Hello – thank you., glad you like the colour
*hides again!*
This is just a tiny suggestion from a lowly amateur, but in the panel with the weretoad, Urch and Odetto should break the panel, not just fly behind the edge. It would lead the viewer’s eye riiiiiight to the next panel, too!
Katherine is a superstar of color! It’s true, that she has the job of pumping a lot of energy into the action. I expect no less from her!
You know what one word in this post makes me so incredibly happy? Not Kickstarter, not sketches . . . books. Plural. That means that it’s going to keep coming. I love Nnewts, but I was kind of preparing myself for it to be a one and done like Ratfist was. I was disappointed that Ratfist ended (not how it ended mind you, it worked, it was right.)
Oh and the kickstarter makes me happy too. Axe cop already pointed me to it though. I just need to sit myself down and think about what reward tier I want.
This is such a brilliant fix!
Really enjoying this story! Love the way you’ve broken things up!
Now I gotta decide if I can afford that Kickstarter package I want.
Looks like weretoad is really rockin’ out in that second-to-last panel! Headbang, air-guitar and everything.
Ha, just kiddin’. great work on this series so far!
Way to go with your Kickstarter campaign! The Internet – bringing artists and money together for three years, theresabout.
Doug you stated in your MangaStudio Video that you copy your work an sell them for 10 bucks..
What I want to know is what kind of printer do you that prints 11X17 ?
