This is kinda brutal. I didn’t really know how else to put it.
Last week we got 2,015 unique hits on Nnewts! Out of curiosity, I want to see how high we can get those numbers up today with your help. Use your social media to tell your friends about Nnewts all day today and I’ll post today’s numbers for you this weekend. Then you’ll see first hand what kind of effect you have on that 2,015 number, and I’ll benefit from your efforts by expanding the audience. Thanks!

Oh baby why did you stop and look? T_T
there’s his Batman moment ._.
There’s been a lot of brutal parent deaths in fiction over the years, but this is the only one in recent memory where she’ll be made into a pie.. that’s making it even worse..
At least they didn’t scare her . . .
Dang it Doug! You made me cry today.
When I scrolled down to see the bottom panel, I actually flinched. The insert is fantastic.
Gah!! The feels!!!
I got cardboard pre-ordered and it made me laugh more than any story I’ve seen this year.
Now this story may be the first to make me cry.
for a heroic journey.. this little newt is gonna have it rough! Excellent work.
Oh man! Brutal is right! But if folk tales have taught us anything, it’s that some of the greatest heroes come out of some the most traumatic events. The harder you’re pushed, the greater the reward when you finally over come those obstacles or hardships.
I hate being right.
Poor guy. May you understand the bravery and sacrifice of your parents, young nnewt, and bravely sacrifice for your children.
Very sad. Poor little fellow.
p.s.
Matthew Sample II?
From Phil Vischer podcast comments?
Is it Next Wednesday yet? The wait Kills. Oops
Yes, Benjamin, that’s me!
Why does she say “won’t”? shouldn’t it be “don’t”?
I’m not getting-on your grammar Doug
It seems purposeful, but why?
Wow, very abrupt. Maybe its just that the week long break makes the individual pages stand out more. I’ve never followed such a dramatic web comic from the beginning like this, the suspense is intense.
Aw man. Even though there was the sense it was going to happen, Doood. I agree with the powerful shot of the looking back. Nice.
Just stumbled upon this comic today. I have now caught up to the current page and am very excited to watch this story unfold. Well done Doug!
