We’re on hiatus! Still, thanks for reading. I’m trying to finish the graphic novel before considering when to start this webcomic back up. With apologies.

Yes, they don’t swim in water. I’m trying to imply that good creatures like Nnewts are bound to water, while bad monsters like Lizzarks are water haters.
Awesome work Doug! I would just like to say that you should start doing Neverhood comics or like start a new project with a new Neverhood game, it would be just incredible.

Maymer, Ghostopolis is one of my favourites (it makes me cry. Heck, Ratfist made me cry), and I love Creature Tech as well. But any of them are awesome – you won’t be disappointed!!
@ Maymer, Iron West is a good choice (My introduction to Doug Tennapel’s awesomeness in fact). I’d also recommend Cardboard, Ghostopolis, Earthboy Jacobus and Creature Tech.
Bravo for Mr. Tennapel and his super addicting new story, which we will all eagerly await the return of. Here is a song to send this wonderful comic off:

These bad guys are wonderful at giving lots of exposition in a very small amount of words. Good work, guys!

Is it me, or is it kinda weird that one of them orange folks is sort of spouting exposition, and what I really wonder is if this is comical of nature.

ALmost all of the dialogue in the webcomic version of Nnewts is temp dialogue. I was hoping to redo it all for the book once I create my own font… but my first attempt at a font didn’t work out at all!
I was actually wondering about that Doug as the font looked very computer generated. It will be interesting to see all the differences between the webcomic and the final book version.
@Doug: I tried designing a font once. It was painfull.
I can’t wait until this continues, I’ve always loved your art and characters!
